Gulam Gasimova - is a physician and specialist in Internal Medicine. She currently serves as a Lecturer at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Qarabağ University and as the Coordinator of the Skills Line within the medical curriculum.

Dr. Gasimova received her medical degree in General Medicine from Azerbaijan Medical University between 2010 and 2016. She later completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine from 2018 to 2023.

Between 2023 and 2025, she worked as an Internal Medicine specialist at Biruni University Hospital. Her clinical and academic experience focuses on the diagnosis and management of a wide range of internal medicine conditions.

Her professional and research interests include diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, hyperlipidemia, arterial hypertension, metabolic dysfunction–associated liver disease (MASLD), as well as the diagnostic evaluation and management of complex internal medicine cases such as fever of unknown origin and unexplained weight loss.
