Background

Ayten Ismayilova - is a pulmonologist and academic staff member at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Qarabağ University. She graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University, Faculty of Treatment and Prevention, and later completed her specialization in Pulmonary Diseases at Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.

She has continued her professional career at the Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, where she has been involved in both clinical practice and academic activities.

Dr. Ismayilova’s clinical and research interests include allergic asthma, perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and sleep-related breathing disorders, pulmonary thromboembolism, pneumonia and other respiratory infections, interstitial lung diseases, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, and lung cancer.

She actively conducts research in respiratory diseases and regularly presents her findings at national and international scientific platforms and conferences.
