Early and longitudinal clinical exposure

Early and longitudinal clinical exposure is a core component of the educational model at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Qarabağ University. This approach ensures that students are introduced to real healthcare environments from the very beginning of their education, allowing them to gradually develop clinical reasoning and professional competencies.

From the first year, students begin learning and practicing clinical skills in dedicated skills laboratories and simulation-based environments. These settings provide a safe and structured space to develop foundational clinical competencies.

As students progress, they are increasingly engaged in real clinical environments, including the Qarabağ University Clinic. Through observation, participation, and supervised practice, students gain hands-on experience, interact with patients, and develop an understanding of clinical decision-making processes.

The longitudinal nature of this approach allows students to continuously build and refine their skills over time. It enhances their confidence, supports the integration of theory and practice, and prepares them for the realities of clinical work.

By the end of the program, students are equipped not only with strong theoretical knowledge but also with the practical experience and professional mindset required for modern healthcare practice.
