Course Description
This course focuses on the synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer control, and systems design. The curriculum emphasizes the holistic approach to designing "smart" devices, covering the interaction between sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers. Students explore system modeling, signal conditioning, and the implementation of real-time control algorithms. The course highlights the importance of multidisciplinary design in creating high-performance products such as ABS braking systems, industrial robots, and automated consumer electronics. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of designing and prototyping complete mechatronic solutions, ensuring seamless communication between physical components and digital logic to optimize functionality, reliability, and precision in complex engineering environments.
