Course Description
This course introduces students to mathematical modelling and simulation as tools for analyzing and solving real-world problems within a STEAM context. Students learn how to translate practical situations from science, engineering, economics, and everyday life into mathematical models, analyze assumptions, and interpret results. The course covers basic modelling techniques, simulation methods, and the use of digital tools and software to explore dynamic systems and scenarios. Emphasis is placed on problem-based learning, interdisciplinary applications, and the communication of modelling results. By the end of the course, students are able to design and evaluate simple mathematical models and simulations and apply them effectively in educational and applied STEAM settings.
