Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the algebraic and geometric structures that form the basis of modern engineering and data science. The curriculum focuses on systems of linear equations, matrix operations, determinants, and the properties of vector spaces. Students explore eigenvalues and eigenvectors, linear transformations, and the dot and cross products within Euclidean geometry. The analytical geometry component covers the mathematical representation of lines, planes, and conic sections in multi-dimensional spaces. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of applying matrix factorization and geometric projections to solve complex problems in structural analysis, computer graphics, and machine learning algorithms, establishing a vital mathematical framework for all subsequent technical disciplines.
