Course Description
This course explores the architecture and implementation of interconnected systems that enable physical objects to collect and exchange data. The curriculum focuses on sensor integration, embedded systems, and wireless communication protocols like Zigbee, MQTT, and LoRaWAN. Students investigate edge computing, microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, and the security challenges of distributed networks. The course emphasizes real-time data monitoring and automation in smart cities and industrial environments. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of designing and prototyping end-to-end IoT solutions, providing the essential skills for modern automation, robotics, and integrated smart technology sectors.
