[Block 5.1] Internal Medicine: Dermato-venereology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy and Medical Rehabilitation

Course Description
This block addresses the complex diagnosis, clinical decision-making and treatment strategies of multi-organ and systemic diseases. Its goal is to strengthen multidisciplinary approaches in internal medicine and to promote an ethical care culture that considers patients’ psychological, social and physical well-being. The block develops competencies in clinical observation, evidence-based decision-making and rehabilitation-oriented treatment.
In Neurology, students learn the clinical manifestations of neurological diseases, neurological examination techniques, neurophysiological assessment methods and neurological rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team.
In Psychiatry, they study the differential diagnosis of mental disorders, initial pharmacological and psychosocial interventions, risk assessment and referral skills.
In Physiotherapy and Medical Rehabilitation, they acquire principles of functional recovery, assessment of the musculoskeletal system and design and monitoring of individualized rehabilitation programmes.
In Dermato-venereology, emphasis is placed on clinical evaluation, laboratory confirmation, treatment and prevention of infectious, inflammatory and autoimmune dermatoses.
