[MATH400] Integral Calculus of Multivariable Functions
Instruction Language
Azerbaijani
Course Type
Elective - Block 4
Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and techniques of integrating multivariable functions. Key topics include double and triple integrals, iterated integrals, change of variables, and applications of Jacobians. Students learn to compute integrals over various regions in the plane and space, including rectangular, polar, cylindrical, and spherical coordinate systems. The course also explores line and surface integrals, conservative vector fields, and major theorems of vector calculus such as Green’s Theorem, Stokes’ Theorem, and the Divergence Theorem. Emphasis is placed on understanding geometric interpretation, solving applied problems, and building the analytical skills required for advanced studies in mathematics and physics. Through examples and problem-solving tasks, students develop a solid foundation in multivariable integration and learn how these concepts connect to mathematical modeling and real-world applications.
