Course Description
In this block, students select clinical areas according to their interests and deepen their knowledge and skills. It develops independent clinical decision-making, specialized research, professional ethics and a culture of interprofessional collaboration.
In Emergency Medicine, students learn organization of pre-hospital services, scene safety, initial assessment, restoration of vital functions and safe transport of patients.
In Radiology, they apply imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) in clinical decision-making and learn principles of radiation safety and image interpretation.
In Cardiology, they study specific diagnostic methods, pharmacological and interventional treatments, rehabilitation and risk-factor management.
In Pulmonology, they gain skills in diagnostic and therapeutic management of respiratory pathologies, respiratory rehabilitation and long-term oxygen therapy.
In Family Medicine, emphasis is placed on person- and family-centered care, long-term follow-up and coordination of health services.
In Forensic Medicine, students explore legal and ethical aspects, medical expertise, documentation and preservation of evidence in trauma and death cases.
