Course Description
In this block, students gain advanced clinical and research experience in specialized fields according to their interests. The block aims to develop independent thinking, clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary collaboration, while ensuring comprehensive and safe patient care.
In Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, students learn airway management, pain control, resuscitation techniques and monitoring of vital functions.
In Neurosurgery, they study surgical management of neurological diseases, preoperative assessment and postoperative follow-up.
In Urology, they further develop skills in evaluating reproductive and genitourinary disorders, interpreting laboratory and imaging findings and planning clinical management.
In Gastroenterology, emphasis is placed on diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases, endoscopic procedures, dietary and pharmacological therapies.
In Civil Defense, students learn organization of medical care in emergencies, triage, epidemiological surveillance and provision of primary care in field conditions.
