Course Description
This course examines the spatial organization of human societies, the geographical distribution of socio-economic activities, and the interactions between people and the natural environment. The primary aim is to develop an understanding of population dynamics, settlement patterns, economic activities, cultural landscapes, and social structures from a geographical perspective. Key topics include population geography, urban and rural settlements, the spatial organization of economic sectors, cultural geography, globalization, urbanization, and migration processes. Students analyze regional variations in social and economic development and learn to interpret socio-economic phenomena using maps, statistical data, and spatial analysis methods. The course equips future teachers with the skills to evaluate the environmental impacts of human activity and apply geographical analysis effectively in educational and pedagogical contexts.
