Course Description
This block focuses on the early detection, initial management, and rehabilitation principles of common adult diseases. It promotes patient-centered approaches, lifestyle modification, and behavior-change support, while developing skills for assessing and analyzing health indicators at the community level. The teaching draws on knowledge and skills from Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Normal Physiology, Medical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Emergency Medical Care, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Child Health and Pediatrics, Obstetrics–Gynecology, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Dermatology–Venereology, Neurology, Psychiatry, and Public Health.
