Course Description
This block covers diseases of the nervous system and mental disorders, including their etiopathogenesis, symptomatology and diagnostic principles. It develops competencies in clinical observation, neurological examination, mental status assessment, empathic communication and multidisciplinary collaboration. Using evidence-based and ethically grounded approaches, the block promotes understanding of mental well-being and its protection at individual and community levels. It integrates knowledge and skills from Neurology, Psychiatry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Psychology and Public Health.
