Course Description

This block addresses the main mechanisms and clinical manifestations of diseases of the endocrine, reproductive and urogenital systems. It combines the study of hormonal imbalances, reproductive health and ethical decision-making with the development of evidence-based diagnostic and primary care skills. Gender-sensitive and reproductive-health approaches are integrated with community-level health education. The block reinforces knowledge and skills from Endocrinology, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pathology, Pharmacology and Public Health.
