Course Description
This course examines landforms of the Earth’s surface and the processes governing their formation and development. Students study the effects of internal processes—such as tectonic activity, volcanism, and seismic events—as well as external processes including erosion, accumulation, climatic influences, and human activity. The course explores the formation, structure, and dynamics of different geomorphological landscapes. Students develop skills in identifying and analyzing landforms using maps and spatial data, and learn basic geomorphological research methods through field observations and laboratory analysis. Designed for future geography teachers, the course emphasizes the application of geomorphological knowledge in education, environmental awareness, and the understanding and prediction of natural hazards.
