Course Description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and principles of biology, focusing on the universal laws governing living organisms. Topics include cell theory, the structure and functions of the cell, metabolism, heredity and variation, reproduction and development, the classification of living organisms, and the principles of evolution. The course also examines the biosphere, energy and matter cycles within ecosystems, and the conservation of biological diversity. Students learn to explain the structure and functions of living systems, understand the fundamental laws of biology, and connect this knowledge with other natural sciences.
