Course Description

This course introduces psychology as a scientific discipline by examining its subject matter, research methods and main theoretical perspectives. Students study cognitive, emotional and motivational processes, personality development, social interaction and individual differences. Core topics include perception, attention, memory, thinking and language, emotions and motivation, personality structure and development, communication and psychological research methods.
