Course Description
This course teaches the economic characteristics of logistics systems, logistics resources and the principles of their efficient use, and the levers influencing the competitiveness of logistics systems at various levels. It covers the process of assessing product competitiveness, the fundamentals of pricing in logistics systems, transport tariffs, the types and sources of logistics costs, methods used in cost analysis, transaction costs, and ways to optimize logistics costs in value chains. Furthermore, it addresses the justification of logistics projects in the business planning process. The course ensures that students develop skills in economically analyzing logistics processes, optimizing costs, making sound pricing and resource decisions, and strategic planning.
