Course Description
This course teaches the modern structure of transport and forwarding services, forwarding and agency activities within the framework of international and national organizations, and the functional areas of cargo transportation. It covers the professional activities and main functions of a freight forwarder, organizational and legal aspects, the structure of regulatory documents, types of forwarding orders, and services in multimodal transport. The curriculum includes the transportation of perishable, dangerous, and specially controlled goods, quantitative and qualitative control of cargo, and declared value cargo. Furthermore, it studies the planning of a transport and forwarding enterprise, the selection of service types in a competitive environment, information support, and the importance of terminal services. The course develops students' abilities to analyze, manage, and optimize transport and forwarding processes.
