Course Description
This block examines the principles of digestion, metabolism, and endocrine regulation, emphasizing energy balance, and the relationship between nutrition and health. It introduces the investigation of nutrition-related problems and primary health care approaches for the promotion of healthy lifestyles. The block integrates knowledge and skills from Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Cytology, Embryology and Histology, Medical Biology and Genetics, Normal Physiology and Medical Biochemistry.
