Course Description

This block introduces the structure and function of the human body at the cellular, tissue, organ, system, and organism levels, with particular emphasis on the musculoskeletal system and skin. Normal physiological processes are explained and related to primary health care and community-level health research. The content integrates knowledge and skills from Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Cytology, Embryology and Histology, Medical Biology and Genetics, Normal Physiology and Medical Biochemistry.
