Course Description
This block addresses the integrated structure and function of the blood, immune, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems. It analyses pathophysiological changes in these systems and develops basic skills in observation and research within the context of primary medical care and community health. The block draws on and reinforces knowledge and skills from Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Cytology, Embryology and Histology, Medical Biology and Genetics, Normal Physiology and Medical Biochemistry.
