Course Description
This course provides an introduction to the synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer control systems. The curriculum covers the fundamental components of mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers. Students explore the principles of signal conditioning, basic circuit design, and the logic behind automated movement. The course emphasizes the modeling of simple robotic structures and the programming of embedded systems for real-time interaction. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of understanding the functional architecture of modern "smart" machines and designing basic automated units that respond to environmental inputs with precision.
