Course Description
This course introduces students to fieldwork techniques and research methods used in geographical studies. Students learn how to plan and conduct field investigations, collect primary data, and apply observational, measurement, and sampling methods in natural and human environments. The course covers basic field mapping, data recording, and the use of simple instruments for geographical analysis. Emphasis is placed on linking field observations with classroom-based theory and spatial analysis. Designed for future geography teachers, the course develops practical research skills, promotes critical observation, and supports the effective use of fieldwork in teaching and educational practice.
