Course Description
This course advances the study of electronic systems by focusing on complex multi-stage amplifiers and specialized integrated circuits. The curriculum covers power amplifiers (Class A, B, AB, and C), differential amplifiers, and the internal architecture of operational amplifiers (Op-Amps). Students explore advanced feedback topologies, focusing on how negative feedback influences stability, bandwidth, and distortion. The course also examines oscillator circuits, active filters, and voltage regulators, alongside high-frequency response analysis using Miller's theorem. Through sophisticated laboratory experiments, students design and characterize high-performance circuits, learning to mitigate noise and ensure thermal stability. This knowledge is fundamental for developing professional communication systems, audio processing hardware, and precision measurement tools, equipping students with the advanced skills necessary for modern analog and mixed-signal design.
