Course Description
This course teaches the fundamental principles, methods, and instruments used for precise measurement in electrical and electronic systems. The curriculum covers the operation and application of analog and digital ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters, as well as advanced tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. Students learn about measurement errors, accuracy, precision, and the international standards for calibration. The course emphasizes the use of bridges for measuring resistance, inductance, and capacitance, alongside the application of various transducers and sensors. Through practical laboratory sessions, students develop the essential skills to troubleshoot circuits, verify system performance, and analyze experimental data. This expertise is critical for quality control, research and development, and the maintenance of complex industrial and consumer electronic equipment.
