Course Description
This course focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of analyzing and manipulating discrete-time signals. The curriculum covers fundamental topics such as sampling theory, aliasing, and the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). Students explore the design and implementation of Finite Impulse Response (FIR) and Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters. The course also emphasizes the use of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithms and digital signal processors for real-time applications. By the end of the semester, students will be proficient in processing digital data for telecommunications, audio-visual systems, and biomedical engineering.
