Course Description
This course studies psychological development from conception to late adulthood, focusing on cognitive, emotional, social and behavioural change across the lifespan. Students examine biological, social and cultural influences on development and engage with major developmental theories, including those of Piaget, Erikson and Vygotsky. The course develops the ability to analyze age-related psychological characteristics, explain developmental differences and understand adaptation processes across life stages.
