Course Description
This course teaches the general characteristics of transport objects, the types of cargo, containers, packaging, and marking, transportation and cargo turnover, the technical equipment of transport vehicles, and the classification of motor vehicles. It covers the specifics of construction, agricultural, and quarry dump trucks, refrigerated trucks and trains, self-loading trucks, tanks, and vehicles for transporting long and heavy loads, as well as passenger and cargo-passenger transport vehicles. The course also includes warehouse logistics and loading-unloading operations, cranes and loaders, rail and air transport, and the interrelation of transport types in the carriage of various goods. It aims to develop students' abilities to select transport vehicles, analyze and manage transportation processes, and enhance their technological and logistics skills.
