Course Description
This course explores the principles and techniques for transforming complex datasets into impactful visual representations. The curriculum focuses on human perception, color theory, and the selection of appropriate chart types for different data structures. Students learn to use industry-standard tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries to create interactive dashboards. The course emphasizes storytelling with data and avoiding deceptive graphical practices. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of communicating technical insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear, aesthetically professional, and analytically rigorous visualizations.
