Course Description:
This course examines the craft of writing prose inspired by the narrative traditions of Azerbaijani literature. Students analyze various prose forms — short stories, novellas, and novels — focusing on plot development, characterization, dialogue, descriptive language, and narrative structure. Through readings, workshops, guided writing exercises, and peer critique, learners develop the ability to produce original prose that reflects the stylistic and thematic features of Azerbaijani storytelling.
