Course Description
This course introduces future primary school teachers to the main instructional strategies and methodologies for teaching Azerbaijani at the elementary level. Throughout the course, effective approaches for developing young learners’ ability to use Azerbaijani in communication— including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills— are examined. Attention is given to modern teaching practices and age-appropriate application of language learning theories. The course familiarizes prospective teachers with practical activities aimed at improving primary school students’ fluency and competence in using Azerbaijani, and provides them with opportunities to prepare appropriate lesson plans and learn assessment techniques.
