Course Description
This course prepares future teachers to effectively teach Azerbaijani language skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — at the general and upper-secondary school levels. Students explore the principles of age-appropriate language instruction, modern teaching methodologies, curriculum requirements, and strategies to enhance students’ language competence. The course includes practical lesson planning, development of communicative activities, and examination of contemporary classroom challenges such as speech development, orthographic accuracy, and teaching the norms of literary language. Students gain professional competencies through hands-on practice, observation, and analysis of advanced instructional methods.
