Course Description
This course equips future mathematics teachers with the fundamental knowledge and skills in computer programming necessary to teach informatics at the secondary school level. Students learn core programming concepts such as variables, control structures, functions, and basic algorithms using a high-level programming language such as Python or Java. The main focus is on understanding programming logic and problem-solving strategies. Through hands-on coding exercises, projects, and interactive lessons, teachers develop the confidence and skills needed to effectively teach introductory computer programming concepts in their classrooms.
