Course Description

This practical and theoretical course is aimed at developing students’ abilities to conduct polyphonic vocal ensembles, express musical texts through conducting gestures, and coordinate the artistic and technical processes of choral performance.
Within the course framework, students acquire essential skills such as the fundamental techniques of conducting gestures, meter patterns, control of accents and dynamics, agogics, articulation, intonation, breath management, score reading, vocal balance, and methodological approaches to working with choirs.
