Course Description
This course covers the fundamental principles of child anatomy and physiology, focusing on the structure and function of major organ systems in children. Topics include stages of growth and development, neurological development, the respiratory and circulatory systems, digestion and nutrition, the skeletal and muscular systems, and sensory perception. The course also examines principles of child hygiene and health promotion, including personal hygiene practices, dental care, immunization, and strategies for maintaining a healthy environment in childcare settings. Throughout the course, future educators gain practical knowledge and skills needed to support children’s physical well-being, foster optimal growth and development, and encourage healthy habits.
