Course Description
The Capstone Project enables students to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the economics program by completing an independent, supervised project in their chosen area of economics. Students investigate an economic issue, conduct applied or empirical research, and analyze relevant data using appropriate economic theories and methods. The project requires students to present evidence-based findings and policy or business implications. It demonstrates students’ ability to connect economic theory with real-world economic problems and decision-making.
