Course Description
The Capstone Project is the culminating experience of the engineering program, requiring students to design and implement a comprehensive technical solution. Students work in teams to address a real-world engineering challenge, moving from initial conceptualization and feasibility studies to final prototyping and testing. The project integrates knowledge from multiple disciplines, emphasizing systems engineering, cost analysis, and safety standards. Students must document their progress through technical reports and defend their final results before a faculty committee. This course prepares graduates for professional practice by demonstrating their ability to manage complex, multi-stage engineering projects independently.
