Course Description
This advanced course focuses on the theory of differential equations and the deep analysis of function spaces. The curriculum covers ordinary differential equations (ODEs), systems of linear differential equations, and their stability analysis. Students explore Laplace transforms, Fourier series, and boundary value problems, which are essential for solving physical wave and heat equations. The course emphasizes the convergence of functional sequences and series, as well as the properties of orthogonal polynomials. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of modeling dynamic physical phenomena and utilizing transform methods to solve complex engineering problems, providing the mathematical rigor necessary for advanced studies in electromagnetics, fluid dynamics, and quantum mechanics.
