Background

Vladislav Kuznetsov was born in 1972 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He entered the Uzeyir Hajibeyli
Azerbaijan State Conservatory in 1990 and graduated in 1995 from the Faculty of
Orchestral Instruments, specializing in trombone and trumpet.
Between 1988 and 1992, he worked as an artist with the State Wind Orchestra. From 1993
to 2018, he served as an orchestra performer at the Opera Studio. Since 1990, he has been
engaged in pedagogical activity at the Baku Music Academy, where he was promoted to
Senior Lecturer in 2001 and Associate Professor in 2010.
Under his supervision, numerous students have become laureates of national and
international competitions, and several have received Presidential scholarships. He has also
been invited as a jury member to international competitions in various countries.
He currently works as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University.
