Ogtay Baghirov was born in 1964 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He graduated from the Asaf Zeynalli
Music School and later from the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Azerbaijan State Conservatory.
Between 1984 and 1992, he worked as a soloist with the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic
Symphony Orchestra. From 1992 to 2024, he was engaged in pedagogical activity at the
State Conservatory of Trakya University in Turkey.
He has participated in numerous international concert programs and festivals, gaining
extensive professional experience.
He currently works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University.
