Background

Nurlan Jabizadeh was born in 1996 in the Aghsu region of Azerbaijan. He studied tar
performance at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, where he completed both his
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
He is a laureate of national and international competitions and won First Prize at the
Republican and International Mugham Competition in 2018. He has performed in several
countries including Turkey, Iran, Austria, and Russia.
Between 2017 and 2024, he was engaged in pedagogical activity at various music
institutions and at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
He currently works as a lecturer in Tar at the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University.
