Jeyhun Azizov
Background
Ceyhun Azizov was born in 1999 in Salyan, Azerbaijan.
He began his musical education at an early age and studied piano
at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School.
In 2013, he won Second Prize at the X International Competition
named after V. Safonov. In 2018, he received Second Prize at the
Vaja Chachava International Competition in Tbilisi. In the same year,
he achieved significant international success by winning First Prize
at the Adilia Alieva International Piano Competition in France,
which strengthened his international recognition.
Between 2016 and 2020, he completed his Bachelor’s degree at the
Uzeyir Hajibeyli Baku Music Academy. From 2020 to 2022, he earned
his Master’s degree with distinction at the Azerbaijan State
University of Culture and Arts.
He participated in the “New Names” project organized by the
Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and has presented
several solo concert programs.
Since 2024, he has been working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts
of Karabakh University, combining his academic and artistic activities.
