Abbas Abdullazade
Background
Abbas Abdullazade was born on May 29, 1993, in Baku, Azerbaijan. He received his
professional piano education at the Music College under the Azerbaijan National
Conservatory, graduating with a specialization in piano performance. He continued
his higher education at the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Baku Music Academy, where he completed
both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano.
During his academic studies, he became a laureate of several prestigious national
and international competitions. His major achievements include awards at the
Gara Garayev Republican Competition for Young Pianists, the “Asaf Zeynalli-100”
Competition, and competitions dedicated to Uzeyir Hajibeyli. Notably, he won
First Prize at the III International Competition of Young Classical Musicians
of the Islamic World. He was also awarded at the XIV “Don Vincenzo Vitti”
International Piano Competition in Bari, Italy.
Since 2017, he has been serving as a piano instructor and accompanist at the
Music College under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. His academic and
pedagogical work focuses on solo piano performance and ensemble studies.
