Course Description
This course equips future primary school teachers with the fundamental instructional strategies and methods necessary for effectively integrating visual arts and music into primary education. Throughout the course, curriculum design, teaching approaches, and assessment methods appropriate for art and music instruction—emphasizing hands-on learning and creativity—are examined. Through practical activities, prospective teachers gain relevant knowledge about how visual arts and music contribute to children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. Course priorities include exploring instructional methods, tools, and various teaching technologies and strategies that help young learners develop a clear understanding of how art forms such as drawing and music reflect the surrounding world.
