Course Description
This course is designed to examine the nature, objectives, and economic benefits of tourism forms that develop beyond mass tourism. It explores the contributions of alternative tourism to environmental, social, and economic sustainability, and analyzes its implementation in various regions, as well as the integration of local communities into this process through case-based examples. Furthermore, the course evaluates the impact of volunteer tourism, ecotourism, and other alternative tourism forms on regional development and tourism policy.
