Orkhan Gulahmadov was born on February 1, 1997, in Nisagala village of Yardimli district, Azerbaijan. In 2003, he entered A. Hajiyev Secondary School in Nisagala village and successfully graduated in 2014. In the same year, he was admitted to the Faculty of Physics at Baku State University (BSU), majoring in Physics Teaching, and completed his bachelor’s degree in 2018. In 2018, he continued his education at BSU and enrolled in the master’s program at the Faculty of Physics. In 2020, he graduated with distinction, obtaining a master’s degree in Atomic and Molecular Physics. In 2021, he was admitted to the doctoral program at the Faculty of Physics of BSU, Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials, specializing in 2222.01 – Physics and Technology of Nanostructures. On June 6, 2024, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Triboelectric Generators Based on Micro- and Nanostructured Polysiloxane and Nylon Films.” According to the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 18, 2025, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics. From 2018 to 2021, he worked as a laboratory assistant and senior laboratory assistant at the Nano Research Center of BSU. Between 2022 and 2025, he worked as a junior researcher at the Nano Research Laboratory of the Research, Development and Innovation Excellence Center of BSU. He is the author of 16 articles indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, more than 80 scientific works in total, and over 45 grant and technical projects. Since 2025, he has been working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering of Karabakh University.
