Abasova Nigar Kamil has worked at the Department of "Computing Technic and Automation of Production Processes" at the University of Architecture and Construction since 1983. After the department was renamed "Information Technologies and Systems" in 2000, she continued her activities at that department. In 2005 she entered doctoral studies of the Institute of Cybernetics of the NANA. In 2001-2012, she worked as a research assistant at the "Technologies and Systems for Identification of Technical Condition of Objects" laboratory of the Institute of Cybernetics of the NANA, along with the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. She began her pedagogical activity as a teacher in 2005 at the "Information Technologies and Systems" department of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. In 2007, she was appointed as the head teacher of the same department. The subjects she taught were: "Stochastic processes", "System modeling", "Optimization and decision-making methods", "Automation of experiments", "Systems engineering", "Information technologies of experimental data processing", "Data structures and algorithms", "Information retrieval systems". From 2012 to 2022, she worked as the head of the Examination Commission for Testing at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. Since 2024, she has been working as a teacher at the "Mechatronics" department of Karabakh University. She is the author of 23 scientific articles, as well as 4 subject programs and 3 textbooks.
