This course enables students to understand the fundamental concepts, types, and functions of the tourism industry, thereby fostering an understanding of the economic, social, and cultural roles of tourism. Within the framework of the course, students acquire knowledge of the scientific foundations of the tourism and leisure industry, the areas of activity of international and national tourism organizations, as well as emerging global trends in this field. Additionally, the course promotes the development of a professional approach grounded in ethical conduct, social responsibility, and the principles of sustainable tourism.
